The Times has just voted Corsham one of the best places to live in the UK 2019.

Corsham is an attractive, affordable town that’s like Bath without the price tag or the tourists.

“Anywhere with a genuinely independent bookshop (not one that’s secretly owned by Waterstones) must be worth a look, and Corsham deserves a loving, lingering stare. Ten miles from the exceedingly expensive and exceedingly popular Bath, it’s built largely from the same pale stone (dug from quarries here), making it a more affordable alternative. Cafe society thrives at Mother & Wild and the Deli, where you can take away or eat at the counter.”
