Thank you all for attending last months event. It was wonderful to gather and chat candidly about our experiences of unprecedented challenges in the last few years. Recently, I have spoken at length to many of you which has been particularly insightful in showing how we evolve as a group going forward. Without doubt the business landscape has changed significantly since Lockdown 1.0. Businesses didn’t survive, some did and some thrived. The pandemic provided an unexpected opportunity to explore new avenues, follow long-held dreams and embark on a fresh start as evidenced by the abundance of new businesses emerging locally. Regardless of our individual business journeys, we are bound together by a collective desire to build a resilient community focused business group. Through networking, we want to get to know our local business community better, helping each other to grow our businesses and networks and most importantly supporting one another.
